Thank you for visiting my website and viewing several of my art pieces. My artwork is multi-media and uses natural resources which include: date palm tree sheaves, leather, beads, minerals, feathers, cactus and earthen paints.

When I first arrived in Phoenix in 2002, I would see date palm sheaves all over the ground after a storm. The shape of the sheaves was very intriguing to me. As I began to explore the Sonoran desert, I found many beautiful things in nature that I'd never seen in other parts of the country. Soon, the artist part of me began to churn and I started experimenting with different materials to create something that seeks to combine the many parts of nature that I found so beautiful. My pieces are my interpretation of the beauty that surrounds us in the Sonoran desert.

I reside in Cave Creek, Arizona which is just north of Scottsdale and Phoenix and borders Carefree. I am originally from Richland, Washington, which is located in Southeast Washington in the Tri-Cities. I have three children and one grandchild. I am the first generation on both sides of my family who was born outside of Oklahoma. My parents, 6 younger sisters and their families still live in Washington State. Most of my extended family still resides in Oklahoma.

I hope my artwork brings you as much joy to behold as it does for me to create.
